STEFANIE

Stefanie is currently studying Landscape Design at University of Guelph, and is an honours graduate from Durham College’s Horticulture - Food and Farming program. She also has a diploma in Culinary Arts, and is a certified Sommelier.

She has worked as a municipal gardener, and on multiple farms in Ontario and New Zealand, where her interest in permaculture, sustainability, and urban agriculture took off.

Stefanie spends her days operating and maintaining her self-contained growing facility, two greenhouses and extensive home food gardens that she built with Curtis, as well as helping clients build their own food gardens. Growing her own organic food from seed to table brings her immense joy.

CURTIS

Over 19 years as a journeyperson carpenter, Curtis has served all corners of the industry, from fine cabinetry fabrication to concrete forming, full housing builds, and all the details in between. His wide and diverse experience has led him to work with clients in construction, interior design, and residential renovations. Through this, Curtis has earned a keen respect for excellence and detail.

Having spent his early years in the garden, Curtis reconnected with this passion in 2013 and began exploring urban agriculture, vertical farming, and hyper-local neighbourhood-based food production. All this led him to the four season growing operation he and Stefanie work to maintain.

Curtis spends his days helping his clients’ ideas come to reality by building indoor and outdoor living spaces that inspire.
